 REMOTE WORKERS WEEK

June 23rd - 30th, 2023

In a world where technology has made it possible for us to work from anywhere, there are no geographical boundaries as far as our jobs are concerned. If you are one of the millions of people who have already embraced remote working, you know that it has a lot of benefits. It is empowering because it allows you to manage your own schedule, work from home and choose when to get up and go to bed. It's convenient and even liberating, but it can also make you feel isolated. When you work outside of the office with only your computer for company, it can be hard to find that sense of community that comes from being around other people who share your interests and goals. If you're looking for some inspiration for your next project or just want to get away from your everyday routine for a while, join us at the Aia, from September 16th to September 23rd, for a week of remote working in Italy. There will be plenty of time to focus on your work while surrounded by beautiful nature and a supportive community!

THE PERKS OF REMOTE WORKING IN ITALY

As a remote worker, you are in charge of your schedule and can choose to work from anywhere, so why should you choose to do it on your own, in your apartment, when you can do it in a beautiful country house in southern Italy, sitting by the pool and just a few minutes away from the beach? Join our retreat and make the most of your life as a digital nomad! When you are done working for the day, you will have plenty of amazing activities to choose from, you will be able to explore the region or just chill and watch the sunset with a glass of fine wine. The Salento region is one of the most beautiful areas in Italy. Situated on the south coast of Puglia, it is famous for its beautiful beaches and rocky shores; its olive groves that produce some of the most delicious extra virgin olive oil in the country; its rich and ancient history which dates back to pre-Roman times; its wonderful wine production – there are over 90 DOC wines produced here!

Since we are on the subject of wine, you should also know that the end of September is a magical time in Salento. As the autumnal season approaches, it's time for the vendemmia, the grape harvest. Some of the wine producers we work with will be harvesting their vintages during our remote workers' week and will offer our guests the unique opportunity to book a special experience and witness this ancient and poetic ritual first-hand. It is the perfect place to work remotely, with plenty of great places to eat and drink, as well as stunning scenery and unique architecture.

+ Who is it for?

Remote workers, freelancers, creatives, and digital nomads who want to disconnect from the world and reconnect with themselves.

The retreat will take place at the Aia, a beautiful Italian farmhouse with private pool and breath-taking views. The Aia is located just outside Salento's capital city Lecce, which means there is a lot to explore nearby as well as plenty of space to relax and unwind. It has everything you need to get your work done, but it's also beautiful, authentic, and welcoming.
